An alleged member of the Inner West Yungins implicated in a street brawl has defended the charges against him at Fairfield Local Court.

Stefan Miletic, a 20-year-old from Cabramatta, pleaded not guilty today to affray following a brawl between the members of two rival gangs in Canley Heights.

Miletic was charged after a 21-year-old man, alleged to be a OneFour gang member, was attacked by members of the Inner West Yungins, at Fabrika by Madera, at 10pm on November 1, police allege.

Miletic picked a glass cup up from a table outside and threw it through a window at the 21-year-old complainant, police allege in court documents. It missed him, they said, but a woman at the restaurant sustained cuts to her arm after a glass cup shattered nearby.

At his previous court hearing, the police allege Miletic told them he consumed a large amount of cocaine and alcohol before the fight.

Miletic was granted bail after spending three weeks in custody at Bathurst Correctional Centre. He has posted a $10,000 bond and is subject to strict conditions, including drug and alcohol testing, a 9pm curfew, the surrender of his passport and is banned from associating with the complainant, witnesses or gang members.

His case will return to Fairfield Local Court on March 11, 2020.

Police also charged Isoa Rabuatoka, a 19-year-old from Cabramatta, with armed intent to commit indictable offence and affray. He remains in custody on remand and his case is before the courts.
