Doltone House is coming to western Sydney when it transforms Club Marconi into a stunning function and exhibition centre.
A four-month renovation will kick off in the next fortnight to the function rooms at the Bossley Park club, under a partnership with the renowned venue group.
The renovation, understood to be worth $4 million, will transform the club’s trio of function rooms to accommodate 600, 800 and 1200 people.
Paul Signorelli, executive chairman of Doltone House Group and the son of founder Biaggio Signorelli, said the partnership with Marconi realises a lifelong ambition of his father’s.
“The Signorelli family … (is) very proud to continue the legacy of our father, the late Biaggio Signorelli, an Italian migrant of the 1950s and an original Marconi member,” he said.
“Many of our clients have asked us over the years to bring Doltone House closer to them and we are very pleased to have this exciting opportunity in which to do so.”
Although Doltone House operates about a dozen function centres across NSW, its partnership with Marconi represents its foray in western Sydney.
The trio of refurbished function rooms will be among the biggest in Doltone House’s portfolio, and will be suited to hosting wedding receptions, business conferences and social events, the company said.
The Colosseo, a 1000sq m room with a roof taller than 4 metres, will be the largest offered and will accommodate as many as 1200 people.
It is followed by the La Boheme, a 720sq m room that will fit up to 800 people, and the Elettra, a 525sq m room with a capacity of 600.
The partnership will also see Doltone House responsible for Club Marconi’s Palladium Exhibition space, a 13,000sq m hall that’ll fit 5000 people.
“The Palladium exhibition space … will be the perfect setting to launch a product, exhibition and community or social event,” the company said.
Doltone House Marconi is expected to open for business in late May, 2020.
