Hundreds of families gathered to celebrate the beloved annual Cabramatta Moon Festival known for dazzling lantern parades, live entertainment and plenty of mooncakes.
The annual festival is the largest community event in the Fairfield area and celebrated 25 years on Sunday at the Cabramatta Town Centre.
The Queen tribute show ‘Queen Forever’ headlined the event and MasterChef Australia’s Khanh Ong hit the cooking stage with his mother to showcase traditional Vietnamese fare with a modern twist.
“Cabramatta Moon Festival bring families together, it’s a real boost for our local businesses, and attracts tourism while showcasing what makes our City a great destination to visit,” Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone said.
