Woman in 30s dead, toddler flown to Sydney hospital after crash in state’s west
There has been tragic scenes in the state’s west with a woman dead and two minors in hospital after a horrific single-vehicle crash near Mudgee.

A woman has died and two girls have been flown to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on a dirt road in the state’s west on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to Tiendebah Rd, Mudgee, shortly after 4.30pm following reports a car had collided with a tree.
The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be in her 30s, died at the scene.
Two girls – aged eight and two – were passengers in the car.
They were taken to Mudgee District Hospital before the toddler was airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
NSW Ambulance confirmed one of the children had sustained head injuries.
Officers from the Orana Mid Western Police District and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command have established a crime scene and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
