Police allege Ms McMaster, 33, was the driver of a silver Holden Barina which left the Tomingley West Road, 60 kilometres southwest of Dubbo, in the early hours of December 28 and rolled multiple times before landing on its roof.

Peak Hill woman Shani Hando, 34, died after police say she was thrown from the car.

Paramedics treated Ms McMaster at the scene of the crash for an arm injury and she was later taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for further treatment.

After her release, police charged Ms McMaster on December 29 with dangerous driving causing death and negligent driving causing death.

A registrar granted Ms McMaster bail on December 30, with conditions attached which included that she report to Narromine Police Station once a week, live at an address in Trangie and not drive any motor vehicle.

In court Ms McMaster was represented by lawyer Tom Seeney, who appeared via audiovisual link from Sydney.

No pleas were entered.

Magistrate Gogin adjourned the case to a date in March as police continue to prepare a brief of evidence against Ms McMaster.

Ms Hando’s mother Donna told The Dubbo News she holds no animosity towards the alleged driver of the vehicle which killed her daughter.

“There’s no way I would do that (be angry), that poor girl ... just living with this would have to be enough because I don’t think I could,” she said.
