A 35-year-old man has been arrested a service station in Muswellbrook and charged with the alleged murder of Bandidos bikie boss Shane De Britt.
The man from Harden in south west NSW will face Muswellbrook Local Court on Wednesday and is the ninth person to be charged over the alleged murder.
Mr De Britt, the central west Bandidos chapter president was gunned down inside his home on a rural property at Eurimbla, 50 kilometres south of Wellington in central NSW on January 14.
Police said the 60-year-old was shot in the head and Strike Force Kerrison was formed to investigate what happened.
Detectives have since charged seven men — aged 58, 39, 39, 38, 37, 32 and 22 — along with a 34-year-old woman for their alleged roles in Mr De Britt’s murder.
All remain before the courts and orders have been made to keep their cases secret as investigations into Mr De Britt’s death continue.
