Police are seeking information following a fatal crash in the state’s west on Monday, which left an elderly man dead and another man hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to Redfern St, Cowra, about 2.50pm on January 15, following reports a Holden Commodore station wagon and Nissan Pathfinder SUV had collided.
The 77-year-old male station wagon driver was treated by paramedics, however, died at the scene.
The 56-year-old male SUV driver was treated for head injuries and flown to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Chifley Police District officers established a crime scene with Crash Investigation Unit officers investigating the circumstances around the incident.
