A $6 million vision to dramatically expand an already existing large-scale residential estate west of Dubbo have been revealed.

Delroy Pastrol PYD LTD has lodged a development application seeking to split 10.5 ha into 101 residential lots sized 300 and 600 sq m.

If the application is successful, it will be located on Champagne Dr with the inclusion of the future Chapmans Rd as part of Dubbo’s Outlook Estate in west Dubbo.

“The proposed development would provide additional supply to the Dubbo housing market,” the developer said.

The developer also argued it was working to provide “housing needs of the community within a low residential environment” by ensuring the land is “consistent with the character” of the township.

There will also be installation of adequate street lighting to “mitigate antisocial behaviour”.

The application is on development until July 22.
