Orange: Cyclist seriously injured in alleged hit and run
An investigation is under way after an alleged hit and run between a cyclist and a car in the central west left a man with serious injuries.

An investigation is under way after a 75-year-old cyclist was left with serious injuries following an alleged hit and run in Orange on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Clinton and Dalton streets about 12.50pm to reports of a crash between a silver Suzuki Swift and an electric bicycle.
The car did not stop and drove away from the scene before police arrived.
Paramedics treated the cyclist at the scene before he was taken to Orange Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A crime scene was established, and four hours later police arrested a 19-year-old woman at a Margaret St home.
A silver Suzuki Swift was also seized from the house for forensic examination.
The woman was later released without charge, pending further inquiries.
As investigations continue, police are asking anyone with information about the incident, or who was in the area at the time of the crash with any mobile or dashcam footage, to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
