A man has been charged after Central West highway patrol officers allegedly located 78kg of cannabis with a street value of more than $1.5 million.
Dubbo Highway Patrol officers stopped a silver Kia Carnival around 9.45am on Monday on the Newell Highway, Dubbo, after police developed a reasonable suspicion to search the vehicle.
When searched, police allegedly located and seized 78kg of cannabis from the vehicle with a potential street value of more than $1.5 million.
The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with supplying prohibited drugs at a commercial quantity and possessing prohibited drugs.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on June 18.
