A driver’s dashcam has allegedly captured a man throwing rocks off the LH Ford Bridge and onto oncoming cars in Dubbo.
But police say they have not received any reports of the alleged incident, details of which were posted on a Facebook community group.
A member of the group posted a screenshot from his vehicle’s dashcam, telling other social media users he had to suddenly brake before a rock hit the road in front of his car around 4.30pm on Monday.

ORANGE
Four people have been charged following a high-visibility operation targeting property-related crime last week.
The Central West Police District, Criminal Investigations Unit, the Dog Unit and the Macquarie Highway Patrol Command were deployed in a “high-saturation” police operation in Orange between 5pm Friday, August 9, and 3am the following day.
“The operations allows police to engage with the public in highly visible areas and in vast numbers, reinforcing that the police are there to protect the community all day, every day,” police said in a statement.
During the 10-hour operation, four people were charged, 18 bail compliance checks, 120 random breath tests and 18 random drug tests were conducted, and four vehicles were searched.
There were also 38 traffic infringements notices issued, 11 licensed premises inspections, and 20 car owners notified that their vehicles were unlocked.
Police also attended a home on Leura Rd, Orange, to arrest a man following an earlier alleged domestic violence incident about 7.30pm on Friday.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station.
Police executed a crime scene warrant and searched the home, where they allegedly seized cannabis plants, cannabis leaf and seeds, indoor growing equipment, cash, mobile phones, psilocybin mushrooms, drug paraphernalia and methylamphetamine.
The man was charged with stalking and intimidation, with an intention to cause physical harm, and was granted bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Tuesday.
Inquiries are continuing into the seized items.
COWRA
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy has been charged following his alleged involvement in multiple property break-ins over the past month.
Chifley Police District officers commenced an investigation into multiple reports of break-ins in Cowra between July and August.
Police charged a 20-year-old man, who remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, police attended a home in Cowra about 1.10pm on Friday and arrested a 17-year-old boy.
He was taken to Cowra Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated breaking and entering a dwelling in company to steal less than $60,000, being carried in a stolen vehicle, and breach of bail.
The teenager was refused bail and appeared at a children’s court on Friday, where he was remanded in custody to appear at another children’s court on Monday.
Inquiries are continuing.
