A woman has been charged following an investigation into the fatal stabbing of a man in NSW’s west earlier this year.

Police attended a property on Limonite Place, Eagle Vale, about 11am on Friday, following inquiries led by Strike Force Honefee and Orana Mid-West Police District detectives.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where she was charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

The charges related to a fatal stabbing police were called to just after 12am on August 16 in Margaret Cres, Dubbo.

When they arrived, police found 39-year-old George John Kirk suffering stab wounds to his chest.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

Mark Peckham, 39, and Daniel Fitton, 29, have previously been arrested and charged with murder over the incident.

They have not yet entered a plea.

Fitton applied for bail on Thursday afternoon but was formally refused — Peckham has also been refused, however he did not apply.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
