Forest Reefs: 63-year-old man killed in car crash

A man in his 60s has tragically been killed in a single-vehicle crash in NSW’s Central West. Police have formed a theory about what occurred before the fatal incident.

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s west at the weekend.

About 2.30pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to Dog Trap Ln, Forest Reefs, 21.5km south of Orange, following reports of a crash.

The 63-year-old man who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

According to police, the man most likely suffered a medical episode before his vehicle left the road and stopped in a paddock.

Chifley Police District officers and other emergency services attended the scene and located the man.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
