Dubbo Regional Council: $4.8, plans revealed for business hub on River St, Dubbo
A country council in the state’s central west has received plans for a hub which could bring several new businesses to the region.

New plans have been lodged for multimillion-dollar industrial sheds, which could see the development of several small businesses in the state’s central west.
A development application for eight light industrial River St sheds totalling $4.8m has been lodged before Dubbo Regional Council and could see an influx of new businesses hit the Dubbo market.
The sheds would comprise of varying floor areas between 148sqm to 525sqm, and would also include a small office, kitchenette and an accessible toilet in each block.
The planner said the proposed development would have “beneficial impacts” on the economic status of the locality by retaining approximately eight employment positions.
“There would be no adverse economic impacts as a result of the proposed development,” the application states.
The site would also include fencing, landscaping, carparking, freestanding business signage and shade structures for carparking and staff amenities.
The trading hours proposed by the application for the businesses are 7am-7pm between Monday to Friday, and 8am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Staff numbers anticipated for each business range from one to five permanent and part-time staff at any one time.
However, staff numbers would be clarified by future tenants should first use development applications be required.
The development application is on public exhibition until October 30.
