Dubbo man pleads guilty to sex with child under 10 charge
A Dubbo man could spend the rest of his life behind bars after he pleaded guilty to one count of having sexual intercourse with a child under 10 years of age.

A 31-year-old Dubbo man has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10.
The man, who cannot be named because it would identify the girl, also pleaded guilty to four apprehended violence order breach charges when he appeared in Dubbo Local Court..
According to court documents, the man had sex with the girl some time in 2016 or 2017 when she was 7 or 8.
The girl’s mother sat stony-faced in the public gallery of the courtroom as she watched the paedophile who abused her daughter appear in the dock.
The man who committed the sick sex act showed no emotion as Magistrate Philip Stewart transferred the case to the District Court.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to be arraigned on Friday.
In NSW any person who has sexual intercourse with a child aged under 10 faces a maximum sentence of imprisonment for life.
