Dubbo Local Court: Kimberly Hope Ahsee pleads guilty after attempting to supply drugs into Wellington Correctional Centre
A woman who attempted to smuggle a synthetic opiod painkiller into a correctional centre and hiding more of the drug down a country hospital’s toilet has entered her pleas.

A woman has admitted hiding 20 strips of the synthetic opiod painkiller buprenorphine strips in a country hospital’s public toilet and attempting to smuggle more of the drug into a prison.
Kimberly Hope Ahsee, 35, of Dubbo, was busted at Wellington Correctional Centre about 10.40am on July 28, about 10.40am after a drug detection dog helped officers find 15 buprenorphine strips on her.
Ahsee was released from the centre pending further investigations.
Just over a week later on August 6, Ahsee attended Dubbo Base Hospital and secreted 20 buprenorphine strips in a public toilet.
A corrections officer attended and seized the drugs.
She was arrested and charged on September 3.
In Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday Ahsee pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying prohibited drugs and supplying in a detention centre.
She remains on bail where she will return to court on November 20 for sentence.
