Dubbo: No arrests have been made after a 39-year-old man has died after suffering multiple stab wounds

An investigation is underway after a fatal stabbing in the state’s west in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to a home on Margaret Cres, Dubbo, just after midnight, following reports of a stabbing.
Orana Mid-Western Police District officers found a 39-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds to his chest.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however he died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established, which will be forensically examined, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death has commenced.
The homicide squad is assisting with the investigation.
Superintendent Tim Chinn said police “believe this is an isolated incident, however the investigation will form different avenues and determine the exact nature”.
He confirmed no arrests have been made.
