A man has been rushed to hospital with a stab wound to his chest in the state’s central west.
Emergency services were called to Brisbane Ave, Cowra, following reports of a stabbing about 3.30pm on Thursday.
A 45-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a laceration and a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken to Cowra Hospital for further treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
Chifley Police District officers established a crime scene and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
