Coonabarabran: Man, 27, charged with pursuit and domestic violence offences
Police allege a 27-year-old man, who was already on bail, attempted to run off after a pursuit in a stolen vehicle ended when it crashed into a mound of dirt. Here’s the latest.

A man is facing police pursuit and domestic violence charges after being arrested following an alleged chase in the state’s central west.
Police said officers were patrolling Baradine Rd, Coonabarabran, about 10am on Tuesday when they attempted to stop a Ford Falcon to speak with the driver.
When the vehicle failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated, however it was terminated due to safety concerns, police said in a statement.
Police later located the vehicle with two passengers outside the car, after it left the road and hit a dirt mound on Black Pines Rd, Bugaldie - the driver fled into bushland.
Police also received reports a quad bike was allegedly stolen from a property on Baradine Rd, Baradine, about 1pm.
Following inquiries, police attended a home on Masman St, Baradine, and arrested a 27-year-old man, about 10.10pm on the same day.
The man was taken to Coonabarabran Police Station and charged with traffic, fraud and domestic violence offences.
He was charged with not stopping during a police pursuit, two counts of using an unlicensed class vehicle, two counts of using a Class A vehicle with an unathourised number plate and two using of using an unregistered Class A vehicle on the road.
The man was also charged with stealing a vehicle without the owner's consent, obtaining property by deception, contravening an apprehended violence order and breaching bail conditions.
Police claim the man failed to pay at a service station in Coonamble on Monday, and was involved in a domestic violence incident on Tuesday.
The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
