A man has died in a Sydney hospital following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s west last week.
Emergency services were called to Belubula Way, Mandurama, about 30km east of Canowindra, after reports of a single-vehicle crash, about 5am on January 17.
Police were informed the vehicle left the road and crashed down an embankment before hitting a tree.
The 75-year-old male driver was trapped for a short time before he was released and treated on the scene and flown to Westmead Hospital.
Chifley Police District officers commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man died in hospital on January 20.
A report will be prepared for Coroner.
