CAMPBELLTOWN Catholic Club is getting behind the DoSomething Day initiative with several community projects.
The club is supporting the St Vincent de Paul Nagle Famliy Care and Support Centre by acting as a collection point for new or lightly used warm winter clothing.
The collection points at the Catholic Club, Golf Club and Aquafit reception will be open until DoSomething Day on Wednesday, July 25.
Catholic Club staff also will be planting $1000 worth of eucalyptus trees to help support the local koala population.
Campbelltown Catholic Club general manager people and culture Jill Teeling said the club was proud to get behind the DoSomething Day initiative.
“ We wanted to do a couple of things that all of our staff could get involved in,” she said.
“Our staff have really got behind it and so have our club members, we’ve already got four bins full of clothes ready to donate.”
An initiative of DoSomething Foundation, NewsLocal and Your Local Club, DoSomething Day on Wednesday, July 25 seeks to celebrate our volunteers and highlight those who are giving back by spreading kindness in their community. Find out how you can get involved at www.dosomethingday.com.au
