It’s time to take another look at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which boasts a host of new attractions and, for the first time in 65 years, will hold the grand parade in the middle of the day, at 1pm on Tuesday, April 11.
The new attractions featured in this year’s Easter Show, running April 6-19 at Sydney Showground, include Little Hands On The Land, a kid-sized working farm designed to teach children all about agriculture from the crop to the shop.
The Beast, a thrilling Europe-sourced attraction that swings riders 43m above the crowd below, is being introduced for the first time this year. Also new is the opportunity to camp at the show, with glamp-camp tents set up in the Daily Telegraph Paddock.
The popular Man from Snowy River spectacular returns to Spotless Stadium for the last time. The very best stockmen and 100 animals combine in a thundering display that brings Banjo Paterson’s iconic ballad of the Australian outback to life at 7.30pm each night.
If you can’t get to the grand parade on April 11 there are two more chances — on April 8 at 5.25pm and April 14 at 4.15pm. Tickets are on sale now via eastershow.com.au.
We are giving away 200 family passes to this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show. To enter, follow the prompts below. This competition closes 5pm March 20; winners drawn March 21 and will be published on the NewsLocal.com.au competition page March 22. Authorised under permit number LTPM-17-01572
