Where the best burgers in Sydney are that won’t break the bank

GOURMET burger joints have spread across Sydney in the past couple of years so nabbing a bargain is a snap.

WITH the explosion of burger joints opening in Sydney, it is now easier than ever to grab a gourmet burger in Sydney for a bargain.

Here are the city’s best spots with burgers for $10 or less.

Burger Project — 1, World Square, 644 George St, Sydney

Incredibly, Neil Perry’s managed to design three burgers which sneak under the $10 mark at his latest business venture — the classic ($8.90), the American cheese ($9.90) and the cheese ($9.90).

It’s central, tasty and, like Perry’s Burger Project there’s a range of burgers inside $10. The classic beef ($8.50), cheese ($9), cheese and gherkin ($9.5) and chicken burger ($10).

Batch Burgers and Espresso, 3A Broughton St, Kirribilli

An American diner-style venue in the shadow of the Harbour Bridge — don’t worry it’s not half as cheesy as it sounds.

At $11 we know we’re bending the rules slightly here, but the cheese burger with onion, pickles and American mustard is still excellent value.
