Sydney Olympic Park
A woman has been treated for cuts to her face after a man allegedly threw a glass bottle during the Hardcore Till I Die music festival in Sydney Olympic Park.
Police will allege a security officer was responding to an unrelated incident at around 6.45pm on Saturday when he was punched in the face by an 18-year-old man.
That man then allegedly picked up a glass bottle and threw it at the guard, missed him and instead hit an 18-year-old woman.
The bottle broke on impact and the woman had to be treated at the scene for facial lacerations. The man ran away from the scene.
At around 9.40pm, three officers from South West Metropolitan Region approached the man over the earlier incidents.
Police allege the man became aggressive and a struggle ensued. Officers used OC spray to take him into custody.
Officers allege the man then spat at an officer.
He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding, common assault, assault police, and resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty.
He was refused bail and appeared in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
Sydney Olympic Park
Officers have charged ten people with drug supply offences following police operations at Australia Day music festivals.
Operations took place at the Sydney Olympic Park and Centennial park festivals, and involves officers from Central Metropolitan Region and South West Metropolitan Region, assisted by specialist units including the Dog Unit, Licensing Police and Police Transport Command.
At the Sydney Olympic Park operation, 183 people were searched and seven people were charged with supplying prohibited drugs.
Officers issued 47 people with a drug criminal infringement notice.
One woman, 18, from Greenacre was charged with supply prohibited drug, MDMA, and possess prohibited drug.
She was granted conditional bail and will appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday March 11.
Sydney Olympic Park
Police have charged fourteen people with drug related offences, following an operation at the Rolling Loud festival that took place on Sunday night.
A further nine people were issued with drug criminal infringement notices, four people were issued cannabis cautions, six juvenile cautions were also issued, and one warning was given to a juvenile.
Officers searched a total of 271 people. Thirteen were charged with possess prohibited drug and the remaining person was charged with supply prohibited drugs.
Officers seized a range of illicit drugs, including MDMA and cannabis.
Ten people were taken to Westmead Hospital with seven of these people suspected of drug and alcohol use and the remaining three with injuries sustained at the event.

Inner West
Police have charged two young people after they took police on a pursuit through the inner west last week, before crashing the vehicle into a phone box in Lewisham.
A silver Lexus sedan was stolen from a home on Parramatta Rd, Stanmore on Wednesday January 23.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command located and attempted to stop the vehicle on
Illawarra Rd, Marrickville on Friday January 25.
A pursuit was imitated but was terminated by police on two occasions, before the vehicle crashed into a phone box on railway terrace, Lewisham.
The three occupants ran from the vehicle.
Police established a perimeter and a short time later three juveniles were arrested and were taken to Newtown Police Station.
Police charged a 17-year-old boy with Skye’s Law, police pursuit not stop, take and drive conveyance without consent, drive manner dangerous and drive never licenced.
He was refused and appeared at court on Saturday.
A 15-year-old girl charged with being carried in conveyance taken without consent.
She was granted bail to appear at a court on Monday February 11.
A 17-year-old boy was issued a caution.
Alexandria
Two men faced court on Sunday after being charged over an alleged home invasion in South Coogee and a pursuit in Alexandria.
Officers were called to reports of a home invasion in South Coogee just after midday on Saturday and while on the way, police saw a 4WD believed to be connected to incident. PolAir tracked the vehicle to a home on Campbell St, Alexandria and a perimeter was established. Police forced their way into the home and found four men inside.
Two of the men were taken to hospital due to suspected drug use.
A 28-year-old Ashfield man and a 25-year-old Redfern man were arrest and charged, where they were taken to Redfern Police Station.
The older man has been charged with aggravated enter dwelling with knowing people there, and police pursuit — not stop — drive dangerously.
