SUNDAY is World Hamburger Day and, with the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas lighting up the Sydney’s CBD for the next 23 days, we have gone on the hunt for the best places to grab a burger while enjoying all this festival has to offer.
1. Steel Bar and Grill, Sydney
Steel Bar and Grill is celebrating the fact Vivid Sydney is taking place right on its doorstep with mini-sliders built on colourful brioche buns. The Vivid buns, that are baked daily in-house, include a mini cheese burger with sweet pickle as well as pulled pork with Asian slaw. While there also check out their colourful lamington dessert. Steel Bar and Grill is adjacent to Martin Place where Vivid Sydney is featuring Deep Forest, a fusion of art and food that includes a giant glowing frog. It is also only a short walk to Barangaroo, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the harbour precincts.
