SYDNEY comedian Becky Lucas is part of a new lie-down comedy offering at this year’s Sydney Comedy Festival that takes the form of a rickshaw-style bike with a full-sized in-built bed.

The free horizontal ride to the CBD festival gigs, complete with pillow and doona, comes complete with free chuckles, as Lucas joins passengers for the ride.

“Lie-down comedy is basically the new stand-up,” Lucas said.

“The Ubed is the perfect way to get guests and myself warmed up pre-gig. It’s a hybrid of travel, comedy and comfort – what more could you want?”
