Surry Hills police officer allegedly assaulted during Pride Month celebrations
Police investigating an alleged attack of an officer during the recent WorldPride celebrations have released pictures of a man and woman who may be able to help with inquiries.

Police are searching for the culprit of a shocking alleged attack on an officer during WorldPride celebrations in Surry Hills.
The NSW Police sergeant was approached by a man on Flinders St, near the intersection of Albion St, shortly after 8pm on February 25 before he was allegedly repeatedly punched in the head.
He was taken to St Vincent Hospital for treatment with facial bruising and lacerations.
Surry Hills detectives have launched an investigation into the alleged attack and have released images of a man and woman that police believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
The man is described as being of Indian or sub continental appearance, aged in his 30s, between 190-195cm tall, of thin build, and with short dark hair and a thin manicured beard.
The woman depicted is described as being of caucasian appearance, aged in her 30s, and with blonde shoulder length hair which is shaved on the right side and a tattoo on her inner left forearm.
She is wearing a pink singlet with tassels, blue denim shorts, white sneakers and carrying a white plastic bag.
