Police hunt man over alleged sexual acts on public transport

Police have made the extraordinary step of releasing the name and identity of a man wanted over alleged sexual acts committed on public transport this week.
Officers are desperately searching for 64-year-old Raymond Cornwall, who was last seen at Central railway station about 1pm on Thursday.
Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad detectives are investigating the alleged incidents, as a public appeal was issued on Friday morning.
Mr Cornwall is wanted in relation to an incident that allegedly took place on public transport about 9.40am on Wednesday.
Police have released an image of Mr Cornwall captured on CCTV at Central station.
The man is known to frequent the Campbelltown and Eagle Vale areas in southwest Sydney.
He is described as being of caucasian appearance, with a fair complexion and grey hair.
Mr Cornwall was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, black pants and white sneakers.
“Police have conducted numerous inquiries and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to contact police,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“If sighted, members of the community are urged not to approach him, but to contact triple-0 immediately.”
