Warmer conditions are expected on two of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Thursday and Sunday.

Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a slim (5 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 8. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.
