One of her co-accused, Deana Tuma, 25, of Guildford appeared in Central Local Court today where it was alleged she was the main driver for the syndicate.
Police claimed Tuma was an “integral” part of the syndicate caught on extensive police surveillance working up to four days per week driving drugs around the city from Killara on Sydney’s north shore to inner-city Summer Hill.
"Without her involvement the group wouldn’t have been able to supply to such a wide network,” the court heard.
During a search of the Guildford family home police seized $2400 which they claim were wages paid to work as a driver.
It heard Tuma, represented in court by Fadi Abbas, lived with her mother and siblings in the Guildford home.
Magistrate Margaret Quinn refused a show cause bail application, saying that she had to take the facts at their highest — which presented “an extremely strong case against her”.
Tuma will next appear in court on October 24.
