A man has been refused bail after being charged with sexually assaulting one woman and sexually touching another women he met online through dating sites.
Justin Kane Millington, 48, of Wyong, faced Wyong Local Court on Thursday after police arrested him at his Owen Ave address about 8.50am.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with 14 offences including eight counts of allegedly having sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent and two counts of allegedly sexually touching the woman.
Mr Millington was also charged with four counts of sexually touching another woman.
Police allege in charge sheets tendered in court Mr Millington sexually assaulted the first woman between 3pm and 5pm on October 7 at the Fernleigh Track at Belmont and at Nine Mile Beach.
Police further allege in charge sheets he later sexually touched a second woman four times between 6pm and 7pm at Redhead in Lake Macquarie on the same day.
The charge sheets state the man allegedly grabbed the woman’s vagina above her clothing, touched her breasts and “placed his hands down the back of (her) pants and grabbed her buttocks”.
His arrest came after officers from Lake Macquarie Police District launched an investigation into reports two women — aged 41 and 50 — had been assaulted by a man they had met on a social media dating application.
Mr Millington appeared at Wyong Local Court where Magistrate Caleb Franklin refused him bail to appear in Belmont Local Court on Wednesday, December 15.
Investigations are ongoing.
