Woy Woy: 3-year-old girl flown to hospital after fall at home

A three-year-old girl has suffered head injuries after a fall inside her Woy Woy home.

A three year old girl has been flow to hospital after a fall inside her Woy Woy home.

The girl has suffered head injuries and been placed in an induced coma as a result of the fall,

CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was called to Woy Woy shortly after 12pm and landed in Rogers Park less than 30 minutes later.

The girl was taken to the park where CareFlight’s specialist doctor intubated and placed her in an induced coma to stabilise her.

The CareFlight aeromedical team continued treatment as the girl was flown to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.
