The countdown to the Central Coast’s top 20 Most Influential is nearly here

THE wait is nearly over. After we revealed positions 21-100 in the inaugural online poll to identify the Coast’s most influential people last week, we begin counting down the top 20 on Friday.

ONLINE readers of the Express Advocate caused quite a stir in our polling for the top 100 Most Influential people on the Central Coast.

Last month we asked you to cast your votes to identify the region’s true movers and shakers — and the response has been huge.

Already we have published those who featured from number 21 to 100 in the list, and tomorrow we begin the countdown for the top 20 leading to the hottest spot on the Coast — the person you have nominated the number one Most Influential Coastie.

The top 20 countdown begins on Friday.

The daily countdown — only online — begins Friday and features exclusive profile articles, pictures and videos.

And it’s safe to say the inaugural poll has uncovered some remarkable individuals who have made their name in fields as diverse as politics, business, sport, medicine, arts, registered clubs and manufacturing.

And what is particularly telling about the top 20 is the quality and calibre of many of those who did not make the final cut.
