KILLARNEY VALE

A man armed with a knife held up the Shell service station at Killarney Vale on Thursday. About 4.20am a man entered the service station on Wyong Rd and approached a 64-year-old male shop attendant.

The man threatened the attendant with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.

Tuggerah Lakes Police attended a short time later and established a crime scene.

As investigations continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He’s described as being caucasian, between 185cm-190cm tall, and of a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, grey socks, and black shoes, with dark glasses and his face covered.

Anyone with information or who may have dashcam footage from the nearby area between 4am and 5am is urged to come forward.

TUMBI UMBI

About 1.50pm on Monday, February 3 a fail to pay for petrol offence occurred at the Shell service Station, on Tumbi Creek Rd.

This week Tuggerah Lakes Police appealed for public help to identify the male depicted in CCTV, who might be able to assist with their inquiries.

The Queensland number plates 567YJBcon the motor vehicle at the time were reported stolen in Queensland in May last year.

The vehicle of interest is described as a white Nissan Qashqai SUV or similar.

Anyone with information about this incident or knows the identity of the person, or the whereabouts of the vehicle, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000

WYONG

Police are appealing for information to local Benjamin Wilkins, who has an outstanding arrest warrant relating to alleged domestic violence matters.

Police have been unsuccessful in locating him and are now seeking assistance from the community.

Wilkins is known to frequent the Wyong area and Newcastle.

If anyone has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

ERINA

Police are appealing for information after a man was verbally abused and his car was damaged at Erina Fair.

About 2.45pm on Tuesday, May 5, a 20-year-old man was seated in his Mazda CX3 in the ground floor car park off Terrigal Drive, Erina, when a group of youths approached the vehicle.

Police have been told the group of teenage boys and girls started yelling at the man, before one of the boys jumped on the bonnet of the car and kicked the windscreen and another boy spat on the car window.

The group left and the man drove out of the car park, before contacting security.

Brisbane Water Police were notified and attended.

Police commenced inquiries and would like to speak to a group of young people, in particular two teenage boys.

The first is described as wearing a hat, light coloured T-shirt, shorts and bright red shoes.

The second is described as having blond hair and wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
