Lleyton Van Spronssen: Man to face drug charges over death of Rhys Morris in Niagara Park crash
Two fresh drug-related charges have been laid against the 18-year-old man who allegedly was behind the wheel of a fatal car crash that claimed the life of his 17-year-old mate in Niagara Park.

The man alleged to have been behind the wheel when a car crashed killing a 17-year-old boy and injuring three others has been hit with two drug charges in relation to the incident.
About 4.30am on March 21, emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle crash on Washington Ave, Niagara Park.
They found four teenage boys seriously injured. Rhys Morris, 17, died at the scene.
A 17-year-old male from Terrigal and an 18-year-old male from Wyoming, were taken to John Hunter Hospital.
Another 17-year-old boy, from Ourimbah, was treated at Gosford Hospital.
The alleged driver, Lleyton Van Spronssen, 18, of Ourimbah, was taken to Woy Woy Police Station on his release from hospital where he was charged with five offences.
These included dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, two counts of negligent driving and P1 driver – less than 25 – drive at night with more than one passenger less than 21 years.
Mr Van Spronssen man was served with an additional two charges today including drive motor vehicle with illicit drug present in oral fluid and drive vehicle under influence of drugs.
He will appear in Gosford Local Court on Friday.
