Niagara Park: Bianca Barr refused bail over alleged pursuit and ramming police cars
A disqualified L-plater who allegedly rammed two police cars following a pursuit in a stolen car did not apply for bail when she appeared at court.

A 30-year-old disqualified learner driver did not apply for bail when she faced court charged over an alleged pursuit in a stolen car in which two police cars were rammed.
Bianca Barr did not say anything when her matter was mentioned briefly at Gosford Local Court on Monday.
The 30-year-old from The Entrance appeared via video link after being remanded in custody at Newcastle Bail Court on Sunday.
It comes after police were patrolling Toomeys Rd, Mt Elliott, at 12.05am on Sunday, February 20, when they attempted to stop a Toyota Camry, which had been reported stolen earlier that day.
Police will allege in court the driver of the silver Camry failed to pull over and a pursuit was initiated.
Brisbane Water Police chased the Camry through Wyoming, Gosford and Niagara Park.
Police will further allege the driver, Ms Barr, turned into a dead end road on Kent St where she has allegedly rammed two police vehicles.
Officers were able to remove Ms Barr from the vehicle before she was arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station.
She was charged with take and drive conveyance without consent, failing to stop during a police pursuit, disqualified driving, using a weapon to avoid apprehension, resisting an officer, carrying a cutting weapon and custody of a knife in public.
A male senior constable suffered soft tissue damage during the arrest.
Ms Barr’s Legal Aid solicitor told Gosford Local Court on Monday she did not wish to apply for bail and it was formally refused.
The court heard the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions indicated it would elect to take over carriage of the matter from the police prosecutor.
Ms Barr was formally refused bail to reappear via video link on March 7.
