Man faints, impales himself on angle grinder while working on a boat
A man has been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition — suffering lacerations to his arm and groin — after he passed out while working with an angle grinder on the Central Coast.

A 23-year-old man suffered serious lacerations to his forearm and groin after passing out while working with an angle grinder inside the cabin of a boat.
Emergency services were called shortly before midday to Barree Ave, at Narara.
It is understood that the man lost consciousness while working inside the boat in today’s hot conditions and fell on an angle grinder.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was called and landed at nearby Alan Davidson Oval. Paramedics provided initial treatment to the man at the scene, in front of his house and transported him to the oval.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided additional treatment for the lacerations to the man’s arm and groin, and significant blood loss.
The man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
NSW Police also attended the incident.
