It appeared Braithwaite didn’t realise he was on camera to the courtroom as he picked his nose and then appeared to eat something during his appearance before Magistrate Jennifer Price.

Magistrate Price set the matter down for sentence in the Gosford District Court due to the nature of the charges.

An agreed set of facts tendered to the court state that Braithwaite, of Coolah, entered the service station on January 9 at 5.35am and walked to the counter.

The facts stated he then reached into his pocket, pulled out a pair of blue handled scissors and said “um, can I please get, um, all the f**king money right now?”

The male service station employee, aged 38, stepped back and Braithwaite said “like right f**king now” before the employee pressed the alarm and locked himself in the manager’s room.
