Using phone intercepts police recorded the 44-year-old agreeing to supply drugs to another man.

Police then established Wotherspoon was using three phones, all registered to other people, to supply drugs.

Officers conducted physical and video surveillance at his residence on Rhodin Drive and followed him to shops at Berkeley Vale where he met another man who he supplied drugs.

The facts state Wotherspoon used “basic drug code” during his calls and agreed to supply amounts of 28g for $4100, 14g for $2100, 7g for $1150, 3.5g for $600 down to 0.1g for $50.

“The offender regularly arranged to meet his customers at various locations throughout The Entrance, Long Jetty and Bateau Bay,” the facts read.

“He also arranged for customers to attend his residence to collect meth from him personally or from his letter box.

“Police identified a number of the offender’s customers who purchased methylamphetamine from the offender and then on-supplied to their own customers.”

He was arrested and charged with supplying a commercial quantity of drugs but granted bail on July 15.

The next day police intercepted a phone call in which he told one of his customers he “got grabbed yesterday”.

Later that day he was pulled over by police and they found he had $1450 in cash in the front pocket of his tracksuit pants and 16.33g of methylamphetamine in his possession.

In August police again pulled him over when they saw him drive through a stop sign.

He was found “physically shaking” with $300 cash and 8.66g of `ice’ on him.

Wotherspoon was subsequently charged with the two further counts of supplying a prohibited drug.

He will face Gosford District Court on September 3 to set a date for his sentencing.
