A bricklayer has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 14-year-old girl on the Central Coast.

Isacc Peter Warner faced Wyong Local Court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to five offences including having sex with a 14-year-old girl and two counts each of sexually touching her and inciting a child to do a sexual act.

An agreed set of facts states the now 24-year-old, of Tumbi Umbi, started messaging the victim on Instagram in January last year before they exchanged numbers and began texting each other.

“The victim felt that she had a crush on the offender and that the offender had a crush on her,” the facts state.

Last year, Warner was at the girl’s house and the pair kissed each other on the cheek in her bedroom before going out to sit on the couch.

About 10pm everyone in the house was asleep except Warner, the girl and her brother, who was playing PlayStation.

Warner asked for a blanket and draped it across him and the victim before he started stroking her inner thigh over her pyjamas.

The facts state Warner then sexually assaulted her.

During the incident Warner asked the girl to touch him and she replied “where do you want me to touch you” and he replied “anywhere you want” and “start rubbing me and touching me”.

“The victim felt very uncomfortable and did not want to make a scene because her brother was in the room,” the facts state.

“The victim typed an un-sent text message and showed the offender what she wrote. The victim typed `I’ve had enough. I don’t want to do this any more.’ The offender then used her phone to type `why?’.

“The victim typed a further message and showed the offender. In this message she wrote that she is 14 and he promised he wouldn’t until she was 18 because it hurts.”

Warner then snatched the blanket off her and ignored her until she went to bed.

He left the next day and on Monday the girl reported the incident to her parents and showed them text messages between her and Warner including one in which he wrote “I’m sorry how I treated you yesterday I was just upset sorry baby”.

On Tuesday police arrested him and he denied thee offences saying “she was the one coming onto me, telling me that she loved me”.

Warner was adjourned to face Gosford District Court on June 30 to set a sentencing date.
