Kincumber: Jack Darren Warne-Liddle refused bail after firearm, replica handguns seized

A man, 27, has been refused bail after police raided a house at Kincumber and seized a firearm and four replica guns police will allege were in his possession.

A man has been remanded in custody after facing court charged with breaking and entering, larceny and possessing a firearm while subject to a prohibition order.

Jack Darren Warne-Liddle appeared at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday charged with 10 alleged offences as well as breaching bail.

The court heard the 27-year-old was also facing two previous charges of domestic violence-related common assault, which he had already pleaded not guilty to and were set down for hearing on May 10.

His arrest came after Brisbane Water proactive crime team officers conducted a search at a house on Gladys Manley Ave, Kincumber about 1.20pm on Thursday, February 2, following an investigation into a number of reported break, enter and stealing offences.

During the search, police located and seized several items of interest including a firearm, four replica handguns and power tools.

About 1.15pm on Monday, February 6, Mr Warne-Liddle attended Gosford Police Station where he was arrested and charged with 10 offences including breaking and entering, aggravated breaking and entering, three counts of larceny, two of destroying or damaging property, having a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and driving a stolen car without a licence.

He was refused bail by police to appear in court the following day where he was remanded into custody to appear via video link on February 23.
