Head-on crash on Woy Woy Road kills one man, injures second
Police are investigating a shocking accident on Woy Woy Road that has killed one man and seriously injured another.

A 51-year-old man has died and a 52-year-old man suffered multiple fractures after a horror head-on crash on the Central Coast yesterday.
Shortly after 4pm emergency services were called to Woy Woy Rd, at Woy Woy Bay, after reports two cars collided head-on.

The driver, 52, of a Toyota Hiace van, suffered multiple fractures and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Kariong Oval where he was met by the CareFlight specialist doctor and critical care paramedic.
They administered additional medical care for the man who sustained limb, torso and facial injuries before he was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The 51-year-old male driver of the second vehicle, a Holden Barina, suffered fatal injuries.
Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
