Davistown: Young girl injured after falling from balcony in McCauley St

A young girl has been injured after falling from a balcony in Davistown.
Emergency services were called to a property on McCauley St just before 5pm on Thursday, following reports a child had fallen from a balcony onto a hard surface.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the ambulance was called at around 4.55pm, with the patient a young girl under the age of five.
She said initial report indicated she had fallen from a balcony.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service was called to Davistown Memorial Park where the team met the ambulance and patient.
After a further assessment, the girl was taken by ambulance to Gosford Hospital with the Westpac Helicopter returning to base.
The injuries and condition of the young girl are unknown at this stage.
