Central Coast’s cheapest pub steaks revealed

We’ve done the hard work and can reveal which Central Coast watering holes have steaks as easy on the wallet as the palate from a $13 steak night to a $20 T-bone night. Check out the coast’s best steak deals.

Inflation, supply chain and global meat consumption

The cost of living has emerged as the number one election issue and as Central Coast residents, we are also staring down the barrel of a rise in water rates and extension of the current rate hike.

For the red meat eaters among us, a quality steak is no longer a cheap exercise, with any steak meal under $25 considered value for money across the region along with our Sydney and Newcastle neighbours.

The Express has looked at our local pubs and clubs, making a list of the best and cheapest deals to ensure a steak feed does not blow the weekly budget.

The verdict: From a $13 steak night in Kincumber to a $20 T-bone night in West Gosford, here are the best deals.
