EVERY successful and savvy woman has a unique story to tell and two Central Coast crusaders are on a mission to share, inspire and empower anyone willing to listen.

Entrepreneurs Suzy Miller and Tiffany Doman are the founders of She Story, a motivational movement hoping to transform the lives of Coast women one uplifting story at a time.

And like many other great collaborative ideas, She Story began from a catch up over a coffee and a shared determination to make a difference.

The two are a perfect fit, offering up a wealth of knowledge in business, mentoring, motherhood and leadership development between them, not to mention decades of experience in the corporate world.

“We’re not suggesting we burn our bras, but we are passionate about channelling the strength we women have to offer each other,” Mrs Miller, 44, told the Express Advocate.

“One thing we’d like to see change is that feeling we have towards other women.

“Rather than feeling like it’s a competition, we want to completely support each other with no judgment.

“Inside each of us, there is a woman who wants to kick butt!”

After just a few short months of operations, the dynamic duo has already secured the likes of country music singer Gina Jeffreys, Paralympian powerhouse Liesl Tesch and Law Society of NSW president Pauline Wright to kick off their first event.

Paralympian Liesl Tesch is not one to shy away from supporting other women in their quest to become the best version of themselves.

Next month’s big launch perfectly coincides with International Women’s Day and gives local women of all ages and backgrounds the chance to soak up three very raw and real stories.

“She Story is all about bringing Central Coast women together,” Mrs Doman, 31, said.

“We really wanted to create something that people want to come to — a really engaging, energetic morning.

“I think it might be perceived that [our guest speakers] are going to come and tell the stories we already know about, but it’s going to be a lot deeper than that.

“With so much talent, diversity, resilience, skill and experience to offer each other, it’s about time we women share, inspire, empower, support and guide each other to achieve all that we openly (and privately) dream of doing and becoming.

“There’s much more to that person behind the scenes that we can all benefit from.”

Mrs Miller agreed and said participants would also get the opportunity to donate funds plus new and second-hand bras to the Uplift Project which helps disadvantaged women across the world.

The pair has even extended the invitation to men who are willing to throw their support and encouragement behind wives, daughters, nieces, and female friends and work colleagues.
