The region has 15 new cases which brings the total to 1113 cases since the Delta outbreak started back in June.
The numbers are part of the NSW total of 499 cases to 8pm on Thursday night.
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) has stated that eight of the new cases are linked to known cases.
“The source of infection for two cases is under investigation,” a CCLHD spokesman said.
“The source of infection for five cases is unknown. Five cases were in isolation during their infectious period.”
CCLHD has not recorded any new exposure sites.
Central Coast Parliamentary Secretary Adam Crouch has advised of changes in regional travel rules.
■ Between now and November 1, any fully vaccinated Central Coast resident can freely travel to and from Sydney, Blue Mountains, Shellharbour and Wollongong.
■ From November 1 onwards, any fully vaccinated Central Coast resident can freely travel anywhere in NSW.
■From 1 December onwards, any Central Coast resident (regardless of vaccination status) can freely travel anywhere in NSW.
“Unfortunately this is necessary because of the very low vaccination rates in some part of Regional NSW,” Mr Crouch said.
“The Central Coast’s double dose rate is 72% (as at 10 October), but many regional and rural areas have double dose rates of 45%. We have made fantastic progress, but there are still 19,000 unvaccinated people on the Central Coast.”

“As the date of exposure is now more than six days ago casual contacts do not need to isolate until a negative result is received, if they feel well. However, they should monitor for symptoms and get tested if they develop fever, cough, sore throat, or loss of smell or taste.
She said anyone working in high risk settings, who was at the hospital’s main entry on October 8, should speak to their manager before returning to work. These include workers in healthcare, aged care, disability care, early childhood, school and correctional facilities.
“The community is advised that the hospital remains open and there is no impact on patient care,” the spokeswoman said.
“No other areas in the Main Entry, including the cafe and patient admissions, are considered
exposure sites. All necessary risk assessments and protocols for a healthcare facility exposure have been carried out including deep cleaning of the area, and there is no further risk to staff or patients.”
