Central Coast coronavirus: 5 cases confirmed in the region
Two more women and one man have becoming the latest people diagnosed with COVID-19 on the Central Coast – bringing the tally of confirmed cases to five.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the Central Coast has risen to five.
Central Coast Local Health District has confirmed another three people have been diagnosed with the virus since Monday.
They include a man and woman in their 70s who recently returned from overseas. The air were travelling companions of the woman in her 40s who was the second confirmed case in the coast.
A woman in her 30s has also been diagnosed with COVID-19, after attending a wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat in Stanwell.
“Central Coast Local Health District is providing care and support to an additional three people confirmed with COVID-19,” a CCLHD spokeswoman said.

“This takes the total number of cases of COVID-19 in the Central Coast to five.”
The spokeswoman said staff are continuing daily wellness checks with all confirmed cases who remain in isolation.
“Close contacts of the three new cases have been contacted and asked to self-isolate,” she said.
“They are being contacted every day to check that they are well and any close contact who develops COVID-19 symptoms will be tested for the infection.”
CCLHD are reiterating that all travellers returning or arriving from overseas must self-isolate for 14 days. This applies to everyone, even if you have no symptoms.
Two testing clinics opened at Wyong and Gosford Hospitals this week, while visiting hours at the hospitals have been changed to reduce the spread of the virus.
People are urged to:
■ clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an
alcohol-based hand rub
■ cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed
elbow
■ avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
■ stay home if you are sick
