ALL Central Coast beaches are closed due to extremely dangerous conditions across the Coast.

Central Coast Council has advised the beaches are closed until further notice, and urge residents and visitors to avoid the water and rock fishing.

The Entrance Ocean Baths are also closed until the end of the week.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicts a maximum of 25 degrees on the Coast today, however with southerly winds from 35 to 55km/h.

“Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing,” the Bureau has advised.

Large swells are expected to peak at Killcare today, predicted to reach 6.5m.

Killcare Surf Life Saving Club has issued a warning, saying today’s conditions “could well see the entire beach inundated so please stay away from the rocks around the bogey hole in particular”.
