$190k package of meth in the post lands man in court

A Central Coast man allegedly organised a large package of meth with a street value of $190,000 to be sent through the post.

A Central Coast man who allegedly organised a large package of meth with a street value of $190,000 to be sent through the post has appeared in court.

Police allege Luke William Conroy, 22, from Kincumber on the Central Coast, received a package in the post which contained 252g of methamphetamine (ice) with a potential street value of $190,000.

Eastern Beaches police arrested him on October 9 in Kensington.

He was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with import marketable quantity of border-controlled drug.

His matter was mentioned at Waverley Local Court and has been adjourned until December 19 at Downing Centre Local Court.
