A man has been shot in the stomach at Watson as his attackers fled in a dark Audi, police say.

A police probe has been launched by ACT Policing after officers and emergency services were called to the Knox St home at Watson late on Saturday night.

The victim’s property was also shot at multiple times in a separate recent incident, police say.

The victim was transported to hospital in a serious condition by ACT Ambulance Service.

Authorities believe both shootings were targeted attacks.

Police say the offenders fled the scene in a dark Audi vehicle.

The home is in close proximity to Majura Primary School, raising concerns among local residents about community safety on social media.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed either incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area to come forward.
